Career

After training for a few years, in 2018, she participated in the 100m race at the 79th All India Inter University Athletics championship. She finished the race in 11.56s and broke the record of 11.60s record of Indian athlete Zenia Ayrton in the event. During an interview, while talking about it, she said,

My start was not good and I thought that the race would slip from my grasp.”

She then participated in various national and international athletics competitions like 62nd Kerala State Senior Athletics Championship (2018), All India Inter-University Athletics Championship, Moodbidri (2018), 62nd Kerala State Senior Athletics Championship (2018), and National Open Championship (2021). In 2022, she bagged a gold medal at the Indian Grand Prix, Thiruvanthapuram. In 2022, she qualified for the Commonwealth Games, Birmingham and competed in the Women’s 4 x 100m Relay. N.S. Simi is trained under her coach Anoop.
